She also wears the BURGUNDY VELVET ORIGINAL "GODEY" CAPE that came with this gown . . . it can be snapped in front as Miss Godey wore it or PINNED AT WAIST TO SHOW OFF THE BEAUTIFUL LACE OF BODICE OF GOWN . . . this cape is beautifully lined with a burgundy sateen . . . Her Lady has chosen to wear a MADAME ALEXANDER "SELF PORTRAIT" PINK LONG PETTICOAT with stiff tulle & pink lace trim, plus the PINK TAFFETA PANTALETTES that came with this petticoat . . . she wears MADAME ALEXANDER WHITE TIGHTS & A UNIQUE PAIR OF "LORIFINA" BROWN DOLL SHOES with real metal chain accents at ankles . . . These boots are sturdy and very well made, slipping easily on her porcelain high-heel Cissy style feet . . . I encouraged her to choose them to PROTECT HER PORCELAIN FEET FROM TOUCHING EACH OTHER . . . since "china feet" are more delicate than the hard plastic Portrait Doll feet . . . One disadvantage of this doll---SHE IS NOT POSEABLE---her head does not turn, and her arms and legs cannot be posed . . .
