Green Day used concert ticket Aug. 21, 2009 Mandalay Bay Events Center Las Vegas

Green Day concert ticket from Aug. 21, 2009, at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas; size 2” x 7” in good condition with minor wear.  I remember that concert well!  I went with my family, so it was extra special.  We got the tickets the night of the show, on a spur of the moment since we were already in Las Vegas.  We sat up high in the cheap seats, directly to the side of the stage. We couldn't see the video screen presentations, which seemed to be cool, but we did see the stage well, and a lot of side stage action.  The band was amazing.  It was such an epic event.  Tons of hits.  Great melodies.  Lots of slamming grooves.  What a song catalog!  At one time, all the members were laying on the ground, noodling around, jamming, then they playing a segment of "L.A. Woman" by The Doors.  It was surreal.  That was one of the best concerts I have ever seen in my life!
This ticket stub comes from my personal collection of music memorabilia.  I have always been into music.  In the 1970s I did concert reviews for a local newspaper, the San Marcos Outlook.  In the 1980s I worked concert security at the San Diego State University Open Air Theater.  Later, I had my own music zine, "Punk Research," so I collected quite a few unique items over the years.  I went to lots of concerts.  This was one of them!  I saved an artifact from that night!  Maybe you were there too?  Here's a souvenir.
